SALES POLICIES

$500 minimum purchase and a G.E. tax license are required.
Nursery open by appointment only, from 7:30am - 3:00pm Monday through Friday

Deliveries: Charges based on distance, $50.00 minimum.
Hilo area: Deliveries on Mondays and Thursdays
Kona / Island-wide: are once a month or when we can run a full truck.
Neighbor Islands: Shipments made via Young Brothers, freight collect or charged to Consignee. Trees are sent on Thursdays after payment is recieved. (Shipments to Oahu may also be sent Mondays)
A $15.00 per pallet delivery fee to the Hilo docks is charged in addition to plant orders.

Terms: A finance charge of 1.5% per month is added to all past due notices. A copy of your Hawaii State Excise Tax License must be on file with us.
Payment: in U.S. dollars, by check, money order or cash only.
Checkes returned for insufficient funds will be charged $25.00, payable immediately.

Special Orders: 100% prepayment required on all propagation requests.
No volume discount from price list, these are our lowest prices.
Storage Fees: Plants kept in nursery past an agreed pick up or ship date will be charged $5 per plant per month for care and storage.
Bare root orders: are from 3 gallon or smaller stock only.
Bare root charges: are $5.00 per plant, except airlayers and certified plants.

All prices are subject to change at any time and without notice.

Out of State orders: are handled individually. Quarantine laws and other state requirements often limit shipments from Hawaii. A Phytosanitary Certificate is usually required between states. The charge is $20.00 per shipment. We have limited stock of certified plants. Orders are sent via freight service requested, freight collect. A minimum packing fee of $30.00 per box is charged. We cannot guarantee plant material will survive and all risk is borne by the purchaser. We do not ship Internationally.

Non-Warranty and Claims: Plant It Hawaii, Inc. gives no warranty; expressed or implied, as to the variety or productivity of any nursery stock we sell. Any liability is limited to purchase price only. All claims must be made immediately upon receipt of goods and noted on Bill of Lading or invoice upon delivery. Once plant material is recieved in good condition, we make no guarantee; expressed or implied, as to its future growing performance.
